It was through this business that I discovered the Emerald Coast back in 1998 when I came down from Baltimore to meet a new client here in Destin. At that time I thought it was going to be just another job – but as it turned out, it became my new home. From Nashville, Tennessee, where I attended high school at Montgomery Bell Academy, I vacationed to the Emerald Coast with my family for much of my childhood.
Two days after college graduation, I started Coastal Properties Private Retreats, LLC. which is the rental management division of our family business.
I received my Florida Real estate license in December 2004. In February 2005, I started the property and homeowner association management division, which is Coastal Properties Association Management, LLC. In May 2005, I started Coastal Properties Cleaning Services, LLC., which is our cleaning services provider to all of our managed properties.
Needless to say, I have enjoyed the opportunity to become an entrepreneur in this thriving market. I have also enjoyed building a respected and successful business with my mother Susanne Ward and uncle Chip Jervis.
On the personal side, I like to work out, cruise and fish in my boat with my black lab Maggie, work around my house and take afternoon rides in my ’83 CJ7…with Maggie of course. Life is good is all I can say.
